Padmanabhaswamy Temple Treasure Worth $1 Trillion !
Padmanabhaswamy temple is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The temple has awestruck gold-plated glory and its decadence is just beyond words. The huge temple is built in an intricate fusion of the indigenous Kerala style and the Tamil style of architecture associated with the temples located in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu, featuring high walls, and a 16th-century Gopuram. Many believe that the temple was built in late 16th century whereas other believe that it was built even before the birth of Christ. It is said that only those who profess the Hindu faith are permitted entry to the temple. Devotees have to strictly follow a dress code. This is the richest temple in the world. The temple caught much attention back in 2011, when the Supreme Court ordered to open the vault A, whereas in total the temple contains six vaults naming A to F. The temple was before taken care by the Travancore royal family but later Supreme Court took over the control. Adding to the treasure findings in several other vaults, the researchers estimated total over $1 trillion!
Like many other temples in India the Padmanabhaswamy Temple is also surrounded with fear and mysteries.
There is another vault (vault B) located inside the temple as well which is believed to be protected by two big cobra’s. All the other chambers are at least opened with times a year except vault B. This chamber is historical told to have thick walls made of solid gold and it is where the real mystery exists and could contain the largest undiscovered treasure found in the history of the world. If we goes back to the history, the temple was built to worship Lord Vishnu. And all the treasure belongs to them. The devotees believes that if anyone tries to open vault B, disastrous things can happen in and around the temple and even throughout the country and the world. However, the door, with its heavily rusted, old-fashioned lock with three levers requiring three separate keys, was jammed shut- states CS Rajan, who was also the member of panel. When the vault A was opened the inventory unveiled a major priceless treasure. Massive piles of jewels, idols, and coins were uncovered. Everything was scattered and strewn everywhere.
“They were not really arranged systematically. There were baskets, some earthen pots, some copper pots where all these things were kept. It was a magnificent experience. There are no words to describe it” Recalls late justice Rajan.
However the treasure behind vault B still remains a mystery and locals says that there resided the gods themselves therefore it is impossible to open the vault. So what holds inside the chamber? Let’s leave that on Court, till then we can hope that whatever decision is made will not hurt the religious sentiments of the locals. A temple worth crores holds such a mystery- be it historical reviews or present facts but one thing for sure daunting- that is stopping people making a story out of every hoax. In India people are so creative that they just need a spark to ignite numerous stories and through the treasure revealed- they got that spark. Whether its about a snake guarding the vault B or gods residing behind the doors, one can say that the true story stays far away from these assumptions. The temple stands there from more than 10 years and now all we can see is that more people are visiting the temple each day, more than the last 10 years combined!
